I have to say that lute accompanies Sting singing his music piece is a perfect choice. I like even more this live version that the original track. The lute instruments 's sound repeats the beauty of the melody so well.

The "vocalists" represents what Mr. Dowland wrote, that is a four voice "a cappella" song that could be also sung by a treble voice with lute. Amazing how well Sting performs this beautiful ballad accompanied with Lute ( the sound si so sift, much softer than guitar ever :-) )
