Paul Verlaine's "Ars Poetica"
Ars Poetica
By Paul Verlaine, 1844–1896
Music first and foremost! In your verse,
Choose those meters odd of syllable,
Supple in the air, vague, flexible,
Free of pounding beat, heavy or terse.
Choose the words you use—now right, now wrong—
With abandon: when the poet’s vision

Living plants have been generated from the fruit of a little arctic flower, the narrow-leafed campion, that died 32,000 years ago, a team of Russian scientists reports. The fruit was stored by an arctic ground squirrel in its burrow on the tundra of northeastern Siberia and lay permanently frozen un ...

an abstract draft with water colors

My humble abstract study with aquarelle technique (I used water colors. I first watered the paper and then started adding colors. Painting aquarelles is not very easy, you need also a soft cloth or chamois to prevent the excessive mixing of colors.

Wizened roses;-)

@Isamarob, we were talking about painting flowers some days or weeks ago. I found one of my drawings/paintings. I have not framed my work, it is painted on paper. I just added some photoeffects before loading it here, that's why I call this work wizened;-)

Croquis pittura

This is my Croquis painting on a paper. Croquis are kind of crayons and there is a certain type of paper used. I'm not sure how that is called in English, but direct translation is "Paris paper"- a bit brittle surface suitable for croquis drawing. I have modified the pic then with photo effects.
