Disse l'uccellino al cacciatore che già spianò il fucile su di lui:

"Prima che tu spari c'è una cosa, c'è una cosa che io devo dirti:

son l'unico rimasto in tutto il mondo da questo tuo orribile sterminio,

se uccidi pure me non avrai scampo: di tutti gli uomini presto verrà la fine,
perchè tu crudelmente hai infranto l'equilibrio della natura,
tu che sempre predichi l'amore e la libertà di ogni uomo
hai ucciso il simbolo della libertà, hai distrutto l'unica difesa delle piante.

Ma ora che il cielo è deserto, l'inizio di una strage e su di voi:

gli insetti gia preparano una guerra, per sterminare il verde sulla terra,
non ci sara piu ossigeno nell'aria e voi soffocherete piano piano,
dunque hai solo un modo per salvarti: lasciarmi libero di andare per il mondo,
sperando in un miracolo soltanto: che una compagna io trovi salva,
in modo che ritorni la mia razza come sta scritto nella natura.


Ma ora che il fucile hai abbassato, una cosa ancora devo dirti:

questo favore non te lo farò; tu vuoi risparmiarmi solamente
perche hai paura, paura di morire.
Non permetterò che nuove ali nascano ancora per essere un crudele bersaglio dei cacciatori ,
anche se tu non mi ucciderai, aspetterò la morte che mi prenda.

I also agree with Isamarob! The music has to be like this - to open our eyes and change - not only empty words.

Is so 'boring' to hear the same topic - love, hate, money and it repeats the same program over and over again!
There are not intelligent lyrics anymore! well a few only ...

... I like Michael Jackson music and lyrics!

I listened this song the first time. I guess it is from Celentano's own production - there is a strong message to make people rethink, to change to get things better to save the earth etc. how daily small activities and learned routines can matter. Today people have forgotton how to live in balance with the nature, Mother Earthand all the wonderfull speaces living here. Each of those has its own purpose.
