There was no way to do color at the time, so they put colored gels under the glass so that it would give the illusion of color.

Thats why, if you look closely, the bullet goes from green, to white, to red, because its passing under the colored gels."

Ohh good old times my friend. This game was launched before I even born, but this is one of the first video games I've ever played, and it was so addictive!

The best part is that you were able to play it with a friend, and see who got the best score. A cousin and I used to bet a soda and a bag of chips for the winner :)

I didn't know that the game was developed in black and white and the colors were added with gels, that's indeed a creative solution.

We all are almost crying here...jajaja Is not of my times either but all kids have played this one. We have to post more of this old videogames, even if they are so obsolet now still have that "soul" I can't find in new ones.
