Our wall clock

Hi everybody. Just wanted to share with you a pic of our abstract/crazy wall clock :)

We made it by ourselves with some wood cubes, paint and a clock machine. Some cubes are a little skewed, because that picture was taken just after we finished it, I hope you can see it well.

What do you think? would you have one like this in your living room? :P

I loved this pic when saw it at FB, just wondering how you read the hour??? Because all cubes are for all over the wall, maybe being frontal to it changes all the perspective? :-)

By the way, it's a great idea this clock and would love to have one at home too!

Each cube is aligned at the correct position as in a normal clock, they just are closer or farther from the clock machine, that what's give you the crazy perspective :P

You should try to make your own! maybe changing the colors, the positions or the size of the cubes. You'll just need to make a hole in each cube with a power drill, install screws at the wall in the position you want the cubes to be, and another one for the clock machine, insert the cubes in the screws to let them hanging in the wall. And you done!

This is just an idea, maybe you can get a better one. If you decide to do it, don't forget to share it with us :)

I placed a little at the left side of the computer for understanding better. Is not that difficult to do! Great idea, we have also a channel DIY where you could add your clock too :-)

@Isamarob: Jajaja is not that difficult, is just that the clock hands (manecillas) are a little short to see in the pic, we'll try to get some ones bigger. I already add this post to the DIY channel, thanks for letting me know :)

We saw a similar design surfin on internet, but we created our own :) I think that if you can do something by yourself, specially for home decoration, that's better than buy it. It will give to your place a more personal and creative feeling.

I agree Jonamino :-) I haven't try to do something for the house but some scarfs and adding a special touch to some clothes and you feel different when you wear them. And if somebody likes your creatings you feel even more proud! :-P
