Welcome to Glorum! What is this? It's an experimental message board. The version currently online works in a way similar to any web forum or usenet group, with a few differences. - No Categories/Groups Messages are organized with tags. There isn't a central topic. Any topic is ok as long as messages are tagged appropriately. - No Moderators Messages can be filtered by anyone with a click on "+" or "-" near each message. If enough people click on "-" the message is deleted. - Message Visibility The visiblity of messages (both threads and individual replies) is not flat and can vary from very small to very big depending on the number of "+" and "-" received. It is currently little more than a prototype. Many features may be lacking and bugs are certainly present. Any comment about it is greatly appreciated. 288581 years ago: yes, reddit toghether with delicious, google groups and some others is a model for glorum interface. Minimalism and simplicity, mostly. The +/- rating probably reminds reddit rating, too. Glad you like it:-) What would you change?

288577 years ago: I like the minimalistic, coz it's faster. I think you guys should promote this more intensive. btw, is this also has something to do with Y combinator? :)

288568 years ago: Yes, definitely this project is still in its infancy and a proper promotion is still on the to-do list. The current plan is allowing 2 more weeks for fixing details and allow a small community to build up and later starting a more substancial promotional campaign. Glorum is an italian project not related with Y combinator.
