The NANO.php project is now canceled. 16 hours online, not bad.
It would make glorum even more programming-only.

Is that the reason, or is there something else to it?

Programmers are early adopters - maybe that's the only way glorum can ever get any users. Once it has evolved, other types of users might take over. If you look at other social websites, that appears to be the common life-cycle.

That was the reason at that time. Not necessarily a good one.

The idea behind releasing it was exactly the one you described.

Maybe "NANO.php" will have a second opportunity in the next few days. I am going to redesign an old hobby PHP site I had (coldscripts.com) and the idea could be reused more freely there.
