"replies" or "comments"?

I was just wondering if "comments" is not a better label than the current "replies".

I vote for "replies"...cause "comments" gives me the idea of answering a question; people don't use this forum just for asking, we write also ideas, stuff, whatever we have in mind.

I am assuming you meant voting for "comments", because "replies" gives the idea of answering a question. And I tend to agree.

My ideal solution would be to call them "replies" when the post is a forum-like question and "comments" when the post is a blog-like article. But I can't think of a good way to distinguish between the 2.
