Photo sharing in the works

Photo uploading and sharing is being developed. The expectation is to have a barebone implementation within days. Before the end of the year (realistically enough) but it could be expected a few days before that.

glorum's storage capacity was recently extended to 2 Terabytes.

Everything being relative, that is not impressive storage space (about 2000 Gigabytes) nor a space that will be consumed without a huge amount of uploads, however.

Some cloud-like solution was considered but at the end this was the solution that felt simplier while still mantaining a prototype status, posture and freedom.

Images are a prerequisite for a set of features which is now possible to start or complete developing
(the most basic being pictures to personalize a profile and, probably more original to glorum, pictures to visually customize [and recognize] a 'channel').
